A Typical Day in the Afterschool Program
Students in the Afterschool program report to the Afterschool staff directly after school is dismissed. After attendance is taken, students spend portions of their time in groups receiving homework help/academic support, engaging in some form of outdoor physical exercise/sport (weather permitting), and participating in an enrichment activity (i.e. art, chess, etc.). Children are supervised at all times.
Enrollment/Sign-up
Enrollment for the following year’s Afterschool program takes place during the spring of the previous school year. Enrollment paperwork is distributed and collected through the school office during the spring.
Parent Information
A parent informational meeting for families takes place each year when school resumes in the fall. Additional information pertaining to attendance requirements, behavioral expectations, and other programmatic elements will be provided at this meeting.
