Principal's Message

Thank you for celebrating Attendance Awareness Month with us this past September! Our families’ efforts ensure that students have every opportunity to start learning on time.

 We have been noticing school-wide improvement in attendance. For the 2023-24 school year, one-quarter of our students were classified with chronic absenteeism, which is down from one-third of the student body for 2022-23. This year, we hope to see continued growth in our students’ punctuality and commitment to arriving at school each day. Students retain information best when they are receiving in-person, face-to-face instruction from their teachers. By making sure every student can get to school on time for their first class of each day, you can help us give Cougars the opportunity to reach their highest potential!
